Biologist Joins International Team to Conserve Mexican Mangrove

Professor Michael P. Marchetti, Biology, California State University, Chico recently joined universities across the country to further conservation efforts on the central Pacific coast of Mexico in La Manzanilla, Jalisco. Marchetti and his colleagues formed an interdisciplinary research team laying the foundation for natural resource planning aimed at conserving the imperiled tropical mangrove systems of the area.
