Kwanzaa Celebration Held In New Cross-Cultural Leadership Center
The Cross-Cultural Leadership Center (CCLC) invites the campus and community to participate in a Kwanzaa celebration on Monday, Dec. 3, from 7-9 p.m. in the BMU Auditorium. Kwanzaa is a non-religious African American holiday that celebrates family, community and culture. Full Story

Model United Nations Students Excel at Regional Conference
Students participating in the Model United Nations (MUN) course at California State University, Chico made a stunning showing at the American West Model United Nations Conference Nov. 17-20 in Las Vegas. They brought home both the Distinguished Delegation award and the Outstanding Delegation award (the top awards given at the conference) and 10 out of 19 possible awards for position papers. Events Hope to Educate and Raise Awareness About AIDS
Events sponsored by the Butte County World AIDS Day Planning Committee and California State University, Chico on Thursday, Nov. 29, and Friday, Nov. 30, will bring attention to the devastating global and local impacts of AIDS.
All activities are free to the public. Donations will benefit the local HIV Emergency Food Closet as well as future HIV/AIDS awareness programs and activities. Full Story
