Arboretum Tours Start March 15
California State University, Chico and Bidwell Mansion State Park are jointly offering three tours of their extensive collection of native and exotic trees and shrubs this spring, March 15 and 29 and April 12. Renowned Psychologist To Lecture on Adult Relationships and Social Behaviors

Competitors for President's Scholarships Receive Good News
Two hundred thirty high school seniors, already admitted to California State University, Chico, for fall 2006, visited campus on Saturday, Feb. 25, to compete for ten $12,000 scholarships and ten $1,000 scholarships. President Paul Zingg made a surprise announcement of $1,000 scholarships for all who competed in the competition. No matter where they place on the three tests, each student will receive the $1,000 incentive to attend CSU, Chico. Full Story

Engineering Students To Help Rebuild Schools in New Orleans
Twenty-three students from the College of Engineering, Computer Science and Construction Management are traveling to New Orleans and partnering with Tulane University to participate in the Paint Rally for Public Schools. Northern California Local Government Leadership Institute Presents Leadership Development Program

Up 'til Dawn Surpasses Quarter Million Mark for St Jude's
St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital has notified the organizers of the Up 'til Dawn fundraising event held last Nov. 7 at California State University, Chico, that their efforts have yielded more than $101,000 to date, which places them in the number one position nationwide for fundraising.
