Renowned Chemist's Talk Will Take You from the 'Big Bang' to the 'Big Game'
Chemist Sam Markowitz, UC Berkeley, will deliver a lecture titled "NucleoGENESIS, DEUTERONOMY, and the Origin(s) of Life???" on Fri., April 28, at 3 pm, in Ayres 106. His lecture is part of a 50th anniversary celebration of the formation in 1956 of the "Chico State College" Chapter of the Student Affiliates of the American Chemical Society, California State University, Chico. Student AMA Chapter Wins Outstanding Chapter Award at National Conference
Nine California State University, Chico student leaders from the American Marketing Association student organization participated in several competitions at the national 2006 AMA conference in Orlando, Fla., in March. They came home with an "Outstanding Chapter" award for the conference. Full Story
