Six leading Afghan women are at California State University, Chico to learn about adult literacy programs, the first such visit to the United States by an Afghan group following three decades of war in Afghanistan. Full Story

The Orion, California State University, Chico's student newspaper, has won first place in General Newspaper Excellence for non-daily newspapers in the second annual California College Media Competition, sponsored by the California College Media Association.
