Honor Society Holds Initiation and Medallion Ceremony May 8

California State University, Chico's Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society will hold an initiation and medallion ceremony May 8, at 3:30 p.m. in the Bell Memorial Union Auditorium. The CSU, Chico Low Brass Choir will play and refreshments will be served following the ceremony.

The ceremony honors Phi Kappa Phi members graduating this spring and initiates new members. Phi Kappa Phi undergraduate members represent the top 5 percent of their class within their college; graduate students represent the top 2.5 percent within their college.

Department chairs, faculty, family members and friends are welcome.

Founded in 1897 at the University of Maine, Phi Kappa Phi is the nation's oldest, largest and most selective all-discipline honor society. It has chapters on the campuses of nearly 300 colleges and universities in the United States, Puerto Rico and the Philippines.
