Rick Rigsby To Speak at Leadership Conference
Students are invited to the Second Annual In Focus Conference Saturday, Feb. 18, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. in the Bell Memorial Union Auditorium. This leadership conference is designed for student organization executive board members, officer teams, new members and all students wishing to enhance their leadership skills.
Conference highlights include nationally recognized keynote speaker and CSU, Chico alumnus Dr. Rick Rigsby, leadership workshops, group discussions and networking opportunities. Workshops will include Discover Your Leadership Passion, Leadership Stumbling Blocks, Tapping the Resources of Your Associated Students, Creating Effective Communication, and Keys for Planning Successful Events on Campus.
The conference is presented by the Jackie Faris-Rees LEADership Programs and is open to all CSU, Chico Students. The cost is $15 per person if registration is paid by 2/10/06, and $20 per person after that. Registration includes continental breakfast and lunch. Sign up in the Student Activities Office, BMU 213.
