Small Business Owners Invited to "Big Fish" Event
The Center for Entrepreneurship and the Center for Economic Development at California State University, Chico are presenting an event for small business owners titled "Landing the Big Fish: Growing Your Small Business with Large Accounts" on Wednesday, Jan. 25, from 3:30 to 7:30 pm. The event will be held at Manzanita Place/Elks Lodge, 1705 Manzanita Ave., Chico.
The focus of the event is what small businesses need to do to successfully approach large accounts. Sales management expertise will be a topic: How can it help you attract, hire and develop top-drawer salespeople? How can you implement a powerful sales management system?
"If you feel like your growth is stalled, if you are not sure how to expand your markets, or if you have not reached your revenue potential-this is the event for you," said Terry Noel, director of the Center for Entrepreneurship.
Speakers include Robert Dixon, Sales Management Services, and Joe Mudd, senior manager and Minority and Women Business Development for Target Inc.
A social hour with hors d'oeuvres will be part of the event.
Registration is $35. For more information, contact Noel by phone or e-mail at 530-898-5585 or twnoel@csuchico.edu or call the Center for Economic Development at 530-898-4598.
