2005 Women’s Basketball Scholarship Dinner and Pre-Season Tip-Off
The Fastbreak Booster Club and the Chico State Women’s Basketball Team are hosting the 2005 Women’s Basketball Scholarship Dinner and Pre-Season Tip-Off. The event is slated for Saturday, Sept. 17, with cocktails at 6 pm and dinner at 7:15 pm in the BMU Auditorium.
Single tickets are $75 each, and couple tickets are $140 each. Attendance is limited to the first 250 paid reservations. Reservations will be accepted until Sept. 9.
Sponsorship for team tables can be purchased in advance at two levels: $1,000 for an All-American Team Table, which entitles the sponsor to 16 general raffle tickets; and $500 for an All-Conference Team Table, which entitles the sponsor to eight general raffle tickets. In addition, a special sponsor raffle will be held.
The event organizers promise a relaxing gourmet dinner in a great atmosphere with live entertainment. The program highlight will be the presentation of the best of last season and the new team. A live and a silent auction will be held.
Dinner will be catered by CSU, Chico’s chef, Don Slater, and the auctioneer will be assistant coach Alisha Valavanis. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Mary Ann Lazzarini Scholarship Endowment.
