Ag Program Honors Manuel Esteban At Fall Festival 2004
The College of Agriculture, California State University, Chico, invites the community, donors, alumni and students to join in the celebration at Fall Festival 2004, held at the University Farm off Hegan Lane.
The party kicks off Saturday, Oct. 9, at 5 p.m. with farm tours and fun activities for everyone to enjoy. The rest of the evening includes a wine and cheese tasting, dinner and no-host bar, DJ and dancing and parent and alumni social. The college will recognize Hall of Honor inductee and former CSU, Chico President Manuel Esteban during the evening program, along with scholarship donors. A raffle will be ongoing throughout the evening to raise money for scholarships.
Pre-purchased tickets are $15 general, $10 students and $5 for children under 12. Tickets are available at the University Farm and College of Agriculture offices. Guests can purchase tickets at the door for an additional $2 per person.
Established in 1991, the Fall Festival had an initial goal to recognize those who have significantly impacted the direction of the agricultural programs at CSU, Chico. It has since evolved to incorporate a celebration bringing students, their parents, alumni, friends and supporters together. It is also an opportunity for the College of Agriculture to share with the community the many things it has to offer.
For more information call 530-898-6343 or e-mail lsantos@csuchico.edu. Fall Festival is sponsored by the CSU, Chico College of Agriculture and Superior Ag, an auxiliary organization that helps support the college mission.
