Spring 2004 Career Fair Features 50 Recruiting Companies
The semi-annual California State University, Chico Spring Career Fair will be held on Thursday, Feb. 19, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the BMU Auditorium.
The fair will host 50 companies featuring PepsiCo, Hyatt Hotels and Resorts, Abercrombie and Fitch, E*Trade Financial, Wells Fargo, Frito Lay and Mervyn’s. Many of the companies are looking for graduates of any program who show they are willing to work hard, said Brandt Wilson, of the sponsoring business fraternity, Delta Sigma Pi.
Although it is primarily a career fair for graduating seniors, all students, including those who are looking for possible internships, are encouraged to attend.
The Career Planning and Placement office is hosting a “Making the Most of the Career Fair” workshop on Wednesday, Feb. 18, from 4 to 5:30 p.m. in Plumas 102.
Several other career fairs are scheduled for later this semester, including the Educational Career Fair on April 3 and the All Majors Career Fair on April 16.
