Information Sessions Planned for Professional M.B.A. Program in Redding and Chico
California State University, Chico College of Business, in partnership with CSU, Chico Continuing Education and Shasta College, announces the offering of the Professional MBA program in Redding and Chico to a new cohort of students.
First offered at Shasta College in 1995, the program meets the needs of working professionals in the region by providing convenient access to an Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International accredited program.
Applications will be accepted through May 2004, with the first courses beginning in August 2004.
Professionals in Northern California will have continued access to Chico’s MBA., the only internationally recognized graduate program in the region to meet the rigorous accreditation standards of AACSB International (http://www.aacsb.edu).
Courses in the two-year, 30-unit MBA program will be taught by experienced Chico faculty and scheduled in an accelerated Saturday format. Classes will be delivered through live on-site lectures and two-way video teleconferencing originating from Shasta College and the Chico campus. Participants can elect to attend courses in Redding or Chico.
The Professional MBA curriculum will focus on leadership development, team building, communication, and information technology skills applied to real world situations.
Individuals who are interested in the Professional MBA program are encouraged to attend one of the information sessions in Redding and Chico. Faculty and advisers will be on hand to discuss the program, answer questions and assist in the admissions process.
The Redding information sessions will be held Thursday, August 7, 6-7:30 p.m., and Saturday, August 16, 10-11:30 a.m., at the Red Lion Inn, 1830 Hilltop Drive, in Redding.
The Chico information sessions will be held on Saturday, August 16, 10-11:30 a.m., and Thursday, August 21, 6-7:30 p.m., at the CSU, Chico Continuing Education building on campus.
