Business Fraternities Host CSU, Chico Career Fair
The co-ed professional business fraternities Delta Sigma Pi and Phi Chi Theta will host the Fall 2002 Career Fair on Friday, Sept. 20 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Acker Gymnasium at California State University, Chico.
This biannual event is held every semester and is the only North State career fair that is organized and run solely by students.
The Career Fair offers students a way to meet employers and gather information about career and internship opportunities. Among the more than 70 companies expected to attend are ChevronTexaco, Wal-Mart, Hyatt Hotels Corporation, New United Motor Manufacturing, Inc., Pacific Gas and Electric Company, E. & J. Gallo Winery, Pepsi Bottling Group and Frito-Lay. Some government agencies that will also be in attendance are the California Department of Toxic Substances Control, the Sacramento County Probation Department, the California State Board of Equalization, the California Franchise Tax Board, the United States Department of Labor, California State Parks and the City of Sacramento Department of Finance.
