Bommersbach will be the guest speaker at the Conversation on Diversity Wednesday, May 8 at noon in University Center 109. The event is free and open to the public. The rest of the week she will be visiting classes on campus.

Bommersbach is a respected journalist who has been a reporter and editor for weekly and daily newspapers. She has written books, columns and investigative stories for magazines. Bommersbach has also appeared on television for political commentaries and investigative stories.

Bommersbach has received numerous awards and recognition. In 2001, she won a Rocky Mountain Regional Emmy for the television series she created for KTVK-TV in Phoenix entitled, “Hurrah for Arizona.” Her most recent publication, “Murder for Hire,” was featured in Phoenix Magazine in February and is the inside story of an undercover cop posing as a hit man.

Bommerbach’s visit to CSU, Chico is sponsored by the Department of Journalism with support from the Department of Political Science and the Center for Multicultural and Gender Studies.
