Local businesses and community leaders will be provided with vital information about the current and future direction of local and regional economies. Local speakers will provide insight into the agriculture, tourism/recreation, and housing and real estate industries. Attendees will gain useful insight and knowledge about economic trends in Butte, Glenn and Tehama counties, improving their ability to successfully plan for the future of Northern California.
Dan Ripke, CED’s director, said, “Following 9/11 and the slow economy of 2001, business and community leaders are eager to learn more about the general economic outlook for 2002. The Forecast Conference will provide this much-needed information.”
