Athletic Department Hosts Fund-raising Event
The Athletics Department at California State University, Chico is hosting a fund-raising event, “Cats in the Outback,” on Friday, Nov. 9, from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Chico Masonic Family Center.
Tickets for this event are $35 per person or $40 at the door. Ticket price includes appetizers, dessert and beverages. Outback Steakhouse donated the food for this event. A no-host bar will be available.
Events for the evening include live and silent auctions, raffles and games. Some of the auction and raffle prizes include trips, camping packages, bicycles, skydiving, pottery, paintings, sporting event tickets, gift baskets, fine wines, dinners and jewelry.
Proceeds for this event will provide funding for CSU, Chico scholar athletes.
