Two CSU, Chico Faculty Members Receive Bautzer Faculty Awards
Ken Derucher and Gail Corbitt received Bautzer Faculty Awards on October 16. Derucher has been the dean of Engineering, Computer Science, and Technology since 1994. Corbitt has been a professor of Management Information Systems since 1990.
The Bautzer Faculty Awards are given to those distinguished faculty members who have joined in partnership with University Advancement to cultivate private support to enhance educational excellence.
The awards were presented during a recognition breakfast at the California State University Advancement Academy Conference. This event, held every other year, took place in Long Beach on October 16 and 17. Workshops and seminars pertaining to higher education issues were held both days.
